Earrings - Ex voto (Japanese pearls)

My earrings are a little piece of magic brought back to life right here in Montreal, Quebec.

At Atelier Saturne, nothing is left to chance: each pair of earrings is designed, assembled, and infused with intention in my little studio in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood.

It’s my way of creating unique jewelry with meaning.

Every piece of my jewelry includes upcycled elements.

All the beads I use are vintage, found here in Montreal thrift stores or on trips I take specifically to inspire my work.

To date, Atelier Saturne has taken me to several places to create unique collections: Salem, New Orleans, Serbia, Romania, Mexico, Peru, the south of France and Japan.

Each place directly influences the jewelry I create.

All the pearlescent beads used in my designs since June 2025 come from Japan. When there are chain segments on my earrings, they’re offcuts from chains used in my necklaces.

What makes my earrings truly special:

Magical design.

Every pair has that little “je ne sais quoi” that makes it unique.

Most of my earrings are made with beads and charms, often with a slight asymmetry that gives them their character.

The charms come from a variety of places:

– They can be vintage, and very often one of a kind

– They can come from deadstock (past collections or pieces with imperfections (always noted when applicable)

– Sometimes there are also a few new charms, when I can’t find what I’m looking for or to meet certain requests. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions 🤍

If you don’t see a design in the online shop, it simply means it has sold. I never leave sold-out product listings online. (One-of-a-kind designs featuring vintage charms, posted during drops, often sell quickly and disappear right away.)

There are always flat-lay photos and photos of the pieces being worn to help you picture them.
