Magical Earrings: Mandrake (Vintage Japanese Orange Bead)

My earrings are a little bit of magic brought back to life right here in Montreal, Quebec.

At Atelier Saturne, nothing is left to chance: each pair of earrings is designed, assembled, and infused with intention in my little Plateau workshop in Montreal.

This is my way of creating unique, meaningful jewelry.

Each of my pieces of jewelry includes upcycled elements.

All the beads I use are vintage, found here in Montreal thrift stores or on trips I take specifically to inspire my creations.

To date, Atelier Saturne has taken me to several places to create unique collections: Salem, New Orleans, Serbia, Romania, Mexico, Peru, southern France and Japan.

Each place directly influences the jewelry I create.

All the pearlescent beads used in my creations since June 2025 come from Japan. The chain pieces on my earrings are leftover chain from my necklaces.

What makes my earrings truly special:

Magical design.

Each pair has that little something that makes it unique.

Most of my earrings are made up of beads and charms, often with a slight asymmetry that gives them their character.

The charms come from several places:

– They may be vintage, and very often one of a kind

– They may come from deadstock (older collections or pieces with imperfections (always mentioned when applicable)

– Sometimes there are also a few new charms, when I can’t find what I’m looking for or to accommodate certain preferences. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions 🤍

If you don’t see a design in the online shop, it simply means it has sold. I never leave sold-out product listings online. (One-of-a-kind designs featuring vintage charms, posted during drops, often sell quickly and disappear right away.)

There are always flat-lay photos and photos of the pieces being worn to help you picture them on yourself.
