Magical and upcycled earrings: Arcane

My earrings are a little piece of magic brought back to life right here in Montreal, Quebec.

At Atelier Saturne, nothing is left to chance: every pair of earrings is thoughtfully designed, assembled, and infused with intention in my little studio in Montreal’s Plateau neighborhood.

It’s my way of creating unique jewelry with meaning.

Every piece of my jewelry includes upcycled elements.

All the beads I use are vintage, found here in thrift stores in Montreal or on trips I take especially to inspire my work.

To date, Atelier Saturne has taken me to several places to create unique collections: Salem, New Orleans, Serbia, Romania, Mexico, Peru, the south of France and Japan.

Each place directly influences the jewelry I create.

All the pearlescent beads used in my creations since June 2025 come from Japan. When there are chain segments on my earrings, they’re leftover pieces from my necklaces.

What makes my earrings truly special:

A magical design.

Every pair has that little “je ne sais quoi” that makes it unique.

Most of my earrings are made up of beads and charms, often with a slight asymmetry that gives them their character.

The charms come from a variety of places:

– They may be vintage, and often one of a kind

– They may come from deadstock (old collections or pieces with imperfections (always mentioned when that’s the case)

– Sometimes there are also a few new charms, when I can’t find what I’m looking for or to meet a particular request. Don’t hesitate to write to me if you have any questions 🤍

If you don’t see a design in the online shop, it simply means it’s been sold. I never leave sold-out product listings online. (One-of-a-kind designs with vintage charms posted during drops often sell quickly and disappear right away.)

There are always flat-lay photos and photos of the earrings being worn to help you picture them.

The earring backs are made of stainless steel (PVD Physical Vapor Deposition on stainless steel) for the gold-colored finish—a high-quality finish that stands the test of time and is light-years ahead of gold plating, making them perfect even for sensitive ears.
