Magical and upcycled earrings: Medieval

My earrings are a little piece of magic that I bring to life right here in Montreal, Quebec.

At Atelier Saturne, nothing is left to chance: each pair of earrings is designed, assembled, and imbued with intention in my little studio in Montreal’s Plateau.

It’s my way of creating unique, meaningful jewelry.

Each piece of my jewelry contains upcycled elements.

All the beads I use are vintage, found here in Montreal thrift stores or on trips I take specifically to fuel my creativity.

To date, Atelier Saturne has taken me to several places to create unique collections: Salem, New Orleans, Serbia, Romania, Mexico, Peru, southern France and Japan.

Each location directly influences the jewelry I create.

All the pearlescent beads used in my creations since June 2025 come from Japan. When you see small chain pieces on my earrings, they are offcuts from my necklaces.

What makes my earrings truly special:

A magical design.

Each pair has that little “je ne sais quoi” that makes it unique.

Most of my earrings are made of beads and charms, often with a slight asymmetry that gives them their character.

The charms come from several places:

– They may be vintage, and very often unique

– They may come from deadstock (older collections or pieces with imperfections (always mentioned when applicable)

– Sometimes, there are also a few new charms when I can’t find what I’m looking for or to fulfill certain desires. Feel free to write to me if you have any questions at all 🤍

If you don’t see a style in the online store, it simply means it has been sold. I never leave sold-out product pages online. (Unique styles with vintage charms posted during drops often sell quickly and disappear immediately).

There are always flat-lay photos and photos of the jewelry being worn to help you visualize it.

If any are missing, it’s an error, so feel free to contact me.

The clasps are made of stainless steel (PVD Physical Vapor Deposition on stainless steel) for the gold finish, a high-quality finish that stands the test of time and is light-years ahead of gold plating, perfect even for sensitive ears.

No green marks, no surprises: just earrings that stay strong and beautiful for a long time.

And yes, the gold finish on the clasp lasts, even if your skin is acidic. Tested and approved by over 1,000 happy customers 🤍
